The resonance from the Bibi Blocksberg episodes „The Riding Stable” in which Bibi spent her first holidays at the Martin’s Farm, was so great that it led to thoughts of a spin-off series. In 1991 the first Bibi & Tina audio play, written by Ulli Herzog, was released.
In 1992 a Bibi & Tina book series was published and it was successfully developed in the following years.
2002 marked the launch of the monthly BIBI & TINA magazine which has been published ever since.
In the same year, the first animated film episode was released on video. It evolved into a hugely popular television series.
In Germany, the countryside adventures of the horse loving girls are being broadcast by the co-producing channel ZDF. As a passion for horses is shared by children of all nations, the TV series of BIBI & TINA has found a devoted fan base all around the world.
Interest in the exciting horse and animal stories in and around the Martin’s Farm has been ongoing for more than twenty years. Bibi & Tina have been successfully incorporated into almost every entertainment medium of our age.
